What are we exploring?
• The extent of iron mineralization
• Phosphorus
• Rare earth elements, essential for the green transition
Why are we doing this?
Geological surveys, such as magnetic measurements and seismic profiles, have identified areas with potential. By drilling and analyzing core samples, we aim to get more reliable answers on what is actually present in the bedrock.
What happens next?
• Exploration results expected this spring
• Updated assessment of mineral resources may come later this year
• The hope is that results can be included in the new feasibility study
Our latest investigations show interesting results regarding rare earth elements, especially:
Neodymium (Nd)
Praseodymium (Pr)
Dysprosium (Dy)
These metals are essential for the production of permanent magnets, which are used in electric vehicle motors and wind turbines. They are also classified as critical raw materials within the EU, as they are currently not mined within the union.
We look forward to sharing our progress. Follow us on Facebook, Linkedin or Instagram for updates.
