Using an underwater robot (ROV), we have inspected Bergslagsschaktet in the Blötberget mine at depths of 230 and 340 meters, confirming an important addition to the ore reserve. The investigation revealed that there is more ore remaining in the mine than we previously knew!
The investigation took place between November 4th and 6th, and we would like to thank the local companies Bergslagens Kranlyft AB, AEB AB and Gruvteknik i Blötberget AB for their valuable support. The underwater robot, developed and built by Hydrabotics, is operated by their team to carry out the work.
